The Image MASSter™ 4000PRO hard drive duplicator is the next generation of Fast, Reliable and Versatile IT Hard Drive Duplicators, based on the time proven results of the Image MASSter 4000 Product Line. The unit's versatility allows expanding the unit's capabilities to support drive interfaces, such as Fire wire and SCSI, not commonly supported by other manufacturers.
The Image MASSter 4000PRO Hard Drive Duplicator is the Ideal solution for the mid-size IT organization looking for all the benefits of an enterprise level Duplicator. The IM4000PRO is designed for Ease of Use with a Compact Footprint.
This Versatile Hard Drive duplicator has native support for the high speed duplication of up to eight SAS and SATA drives, and up to four USB drives. In addition, it supports the duplication of IDE*,CF*,uSATA* and eSATA* drives. The unit offers a Cable-Free, Drive Caddy solution for quick and easy drive insertion, minimizing maintenance costs and wear and tear issues associated with use of cables.
The Image MASSter™ 4000 PRO is designed to support today's High Performance drives, featuring advanced SATA-2 Duplication Technology that can Copy and Wipe drives at speeds exceeding 7GB/min. This advanced technology also prepares the IT User with the hardware necessary to take advantage of tomorrow's hard drive speed improvements, having the potential of18GB/min transfer rates.
The IM4000PRO is also configured with a 1Gbit Ethernet port for Network Connectivity support.The IM4000PRO can also be purchased with Expansion Ready hardware to expand the unit's capabilities. Expansion Ready units support the use of the Optional IM4000PRO Expansion Box.
The IM4000PRO Expansion Box adds SCSI and Fire-wire Drive Interface support including the flexibility to add High Speed 10Gbit Network* interface support using 3rd Party 10Gbit NIC Cards.* IDE drives supported with Optional IDE Drive and Host Caddy or by Optional Adapters.
* CF drives supported with Optional CF Adapters.
* Micro SATA drives adapters are only supplied with 2.5" Caddy.
* eSATA drives supported using SATA-to-eSATA Cables.
* 10Gbit PCIe NIC Cards are not supplied by ICS.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
An External Power Supply, required to supply power to connected SCSI drives is not supplied with the Expansion Box Option. If an External Power Supply is not available, it can be purchased from ICS as an accessory. The recommended ICS Power Supply Adapter is the ICS Multi-Output Power Adapter (F.GR-0052-000A).

Hard Drive Support: Offers native support for SAS, SATA and USB drives. Optional adapters are available to support IDE Drives*, Micro SATA*, e-SATA Drives*, 2.5", 1.8" IDE Notebook Drives*, ZIF drives*, and Flash media*. The optional IM4000PRO Expansion Box adds support for SCSI and Fire-wire drives. The Expansion Box can be customized by the End User to add USB 3.0 or Fiber Drive support. (* Optional adapters required).
Compact size: The unit's Small Footprint design saves work space.
Versatile "Source" Drive Ports: Flexible design allows any port to be configured as the "Source" port
.Cable Free Drive Caddies: The unit is available with either 2.5" or 3.5" Cable-Free Drive Caddies. Both versions support Cable-Free insertion of eight (8) 2.5"/1.8" or 3.5" Form Factor SATA/SAS drives, accordingly.
Multiple Interface Ports: In addition to the native SATA/SAS ports, the unit is also designed with five USB 2.0 ports, and one Gigabit Ethernet connection that allows duplication of USB devices and storing image files to Network Storage media.
Expand ability: Expansion Ready units support the use of the Optional IM4000PRO Expansion Box. The IM4000PRO Expansion Box (purchased separately) adds SCSI, Fire-wire and Express Card Interface support. Allows connection of up to 2 Fire wire Drives and up to 3 SCSI drives and supports connecting a broad range of Express Card compliant cards, such as Express Card USB 3.0 cards used to connect USB 3.0 mass storage devices.
The IT User can customize the Expansion Box by adding 3rd Party PCIe Cards such 10Gbit NIC Cards to add high speed 10Gbit Network interface support.
Multiple Modes of Operation:
IQ Copy : Used to copy only the allocated data of Source drives configured with Windows Based O/S and File Systems, greatly reducing the time required to copy data. IQ-Copy supports partition scaling allowing duplication of smaller capacity drives to larger capacity drives.
Percent Copy: Used to copy a Source drive's allocated data and un-allocated data, creating a "mirror" image of the Source drive. O/S and File System independent.
Multi-MASSter: Supports storing one or multiple Source drive images on a single "Target" drive using the Segmented File Format. The format copies both allocated and un-allocated data. VHD Capture - Supports storing one or multiple Source drive images on a single "Target" drive using the VHD File Format. The format copies only allocated data.
Wipe-out: Sanitize drives using the DoD Standard, Secure Erase or User Defined.
Network Storage Support: Upload and Download images to and from a shared Network Storage location using the native 1 Gigabit Ethernet interface. The optional IM4000PRO Expansion Box can be customized by the End User to add High Speed 10Gbit Network* interface support using 3rd Party 10Gbit NIC Cards*. (* Third Party 10Gbit NIC Cards are not supplied by ICS).
USB Duplication: The unit supports duplicating up to 4 USB Target devices.Linux IQ-Copy: Provides IQ-Copy support for the Linux Extended 2 (EXT2), EXT3 and EXT4 File Systems.
On-the-Fly Data Encryption: Built-in Disk-Cypher technology allows the ability to Encrypt a "Source" hard drive during copy operations. The IM4000PRO supports the common AES-256 ECB Encryption method.
Multi-Session: Copy multiple Source drives simultaneously or run multiple operations simultaneously. Multi-Session supports duplicating up to 4 Source drives simultaneously. Copy and Sanitize drives at the same time.
